85C Bakery

Today, my best friend Hayley, and her mom The Nance took me to the 85C bakery (pronounced 85 degrees) and it was delicious!! They make fresh bread and baked goods all day long. Just when I was there they brought out at least 5 trays of fresh bread. They have sweet bread (everything from chocolate chip to tarot bread), and they also have things like garlic bread, pineapple pizza bread etc... They also make cake and have coffee, tea and boba. Its located on the cross streets of Jamboree and Alton. I highly recommend it. You will want to eat the whole store. I promise. SO GOOD.

El Coyote

In its 80th year, El Coyote is still tastefully delicious. From the bar, to the food to the waitresses who are dressed up in traditional Mexican dresses, El Coyote is an experience. I had two ostrich tacos, which may sound weird, but its just a lean meat. Ostrich tastes basically just like beef. My boyfriend, Taylor had a beef enchilada, and we also shared an appetizer combo plate (which was filled with delicious items like the Jalapeno poppers!!!!) This is definitely a must-go for all Mexican food enthusiasts.

ASPEN

Well in one of the best weeks of my life I went to some of the most delicious food joints ever.

First off: Boogie's Diner, it was a delicious diner food place, that had not only awesome food, but an awesome atmosphere also. It is an Aspen must, according to my boyfriend Taylor, who is a local/ want to be tourist haha jk but he is an amazing tour guide of this beautiful mountain town.

Next: White House Pizza (carbondale)- After a longgggggg day sledding and shoveling snow, we were starving, so we went to this little pizza place in carbondale. It was the best tasting pizza ever, and we got to sit upstairs in this restaurant, which was cool because we did not know it was there. Next time I am sooo trying their stuffed crust pizza. We got a pizza with basically every meat, bell peppers, and olives. We also got some delish cheese sticks.

Honorable mention (no pic): Little Annies (super good burgers), Johnny Mcguires ( idk if that is how you spell it but it was a sandwich store with basically every kind of sandwich imaginable), we also went to a good mexican food joint, but i forgot the name haha oh well :D

I LOVE COLORADO

San Francisco

Earlier this week I went to SF with my best friend hayley and it was delishhhhhhhh hahaha there are so many restaurants up there it is ridiculous. We ate a lot of food but two of the places were blogworthy (no hayley, it was not the chinese place with that evil women waitress lady).

The first blogworthy place we went to was Little Star Pizza. We got the most delicious hot wings, deep dish pizza and we ordered a thin crust italian pizza for later. It was crazy crowded in there, but we managed to swoop in on a seat. This is a definite must go.

The next place was Dottie's True Blue Cafe, which was featured on Diners, drive ins and dives on the travel channel. This place was also crowded, but it was worth it. The place only has like one grill, some stovetops and a griddle; it was a tiny place to say the least, but it was soooo good. I always try to search out the best breakfast places, it is the best meal of the day in my opinion.

SF is a scrumptious city filled with a variety of different foods and cultures, and we did not even scratch the surface.

Lulu's bakery and cafe

So I know i have not updated this blog in forevvverrr, but the army has been consuming my life for the past 5 months, and still is, but today I consumed life itself in the form of this 3.5 pound cinnamon roll from Lulu's cafe...yes this was on man vs food...and it was delicious. This place is also famous for it's award winning chicken fried steak, which i also had and it was amazinggggg. The roll they served it with is made from the same stuff their cinnamon roll is, so that is also awesome. BAMMM
